Using the right technology the right way.

Starting A Business

You want to start a business, but apart from the idea, and maybe the name (or maybe not even the name) you have no idea where to begin.

Do you start with a website? Get a facebook page? How do you run your business and think about all of that other stuff?

Website, facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram, email newsletters, blogs, and the list goes on and on. Technology is intimidating. It’s constantly pulling at our attention from a hundred different places. We know it’s important, but how can you possibly manage to keep up with all of it? Not only are there an overwhelming amount of tools and platforms to learn, but once you learn them, something changes and you have to start learning all over again. It’s frustrating, I get it.

You have to do something, but what? If you do nothing you’ll more quickly than ever be left behind. You’ve got great ideas and you’re good at what you do. If you’re going to start this business it’s going to take a lot of hard work and that work needs to be laser focused. You don’t have time to think about the best way to put yourself online or the tools you need to keep your business running day to day. After all, you’re focusing on your customers and how you can help them.

Meet Brian…

Brian found himself in a similar situation. He had a good job during the day, but he had a passion for dj-ing and wanted to build a business where he could help people create unforgettable events and memories. He didn’t have time to think about a website, but he knew if he didn’t get his name out there, he would never be able to build the business he was passionate about on the side of his day job. That’s where Bobolink Creative came in. We started with the idea, and the business Brian was already working to build, took his dream, and gave it wings. We developed the branding, business cards and trade show banners to establish the visual representation and feel of the Ear to Ear Entertainment brand. Then, we tied it all together with the most important piece, the website. Through the website as their digital hub, the team at Ear to Ear Entertainment is able to represent their brand in the same way online as they do offline when serving all of their customers at each event. They are able to facilitate incoming requests for their services as well as project manage their events a few customized tools that tie in directly with their website.

Working with Bobolink was a great experience. Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure we were getting everything we needed without making it seem like a sales pitch. We are thrilled with our new website and business cards and Bobolink had a huge part in getting our new business off the ground!

Or do you invest in yourself by giving yourself the space to do what you do best and build your business? What if you could free up your time to focus on the passion that drove you to start this business in the first place? What if you could tell your story through technology without feeling overwhelmed and intimidated by it all?
